Head of Field Marketing @ Clay We're looking for a Head of Field Marketing to build the function that gets our target accounts in a room with our sales team. Roughly half of Clay's business now runs through a sales-led motion serving mid-market, enterprise, and strategic accounts, and we're building the marketing engine to match. This is a builder role: you'll set up the operating model from scratch and be measured on the pipeline you source. What You'll Do Design and run the regional and account-based program portfolio: executive dinners, regional third-party shows, roadshows, lunch-and-learns, and hospitality for Strategic and Sales-led accounts. Build the operating model for the function: program menu, intake and triage process, funding rules, and the target-account standard every program is built against. Partner with Strategic and Sales-led segment leaders to build target-account lists and align program investment to where pipeline is needed most. Sit in sales leadership's staff meeting and pipeline reviews as marketing's field representative, and act as the single point of contact for all event requests from sales. Equip reps and executives to run personal outreach for every program: templates, sequencing, target lists, and follow-up plays. Own the strategic-account lane inside Sculpt and tier-one shows — invites, meetings, executive sessions, and side dinners — within the invite program and calendar set by Corporate Events. Co-own the decision to attend tier-one shows with Brand, and own the meeting and pipeline plan for each. Stand up the measurement layer with RevOps so every program reports sourced pipeline, meetings booked, and target-account attendance, and compares on cost per opportunity against other growth channels. Hire and manage field marketers as the sales org grows, starting with segment alignment and regionalizing as we build international sales coverage. What You'll Bring 10+ years in B2B marketing leading field or regional marketing at a company with a meaningful enterprise or strategic sales motion. A track record of sourcing pipeline through account-targeted programs, and the numbers to show it. Deep credibility with sales leaders; you've sat in their staff meetings and they've asked for you by name. Experience running the pipeline layer inside a user conference or tier-one show alongside a brand or events team. Team Overview EMEA is a growing market for Deepgram, and we're moving from opportunistic sponsorships to a planned events and field program tied to pipeline. You'll be our first field and events marketer in the region, based in London, working with EMEA sales and partner leads and as part of the global Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director, Events & Field Marketing. You'll build a London technical community and partner motions across the region, and connect every event to sales pipeline. The playbook you create will shape how Europe's builders and buyers experience Deepgram for years. Key Goals Publish a committed 6-9 month EMEA events plan and tiering model, agreed with sales and partner leads within your first 30 days Launch a recurring London technical community program with steady attendance from developers, builders and customers Stand up repeatable joint programs with cloud, technology or channel partners, with shared goals and pipeline tracked from day one Build an event-to-sales system (target account lists, pre-event meeting booking, fast follow-up) that meets pre-set pipeline objectives Ship an event-in-a-box kit (signage, swag, talk tracks, lead capture) so local sales and partner teams can run key events without hands-on marketing support Replace ad hoc requests with a simple intake-and-approval process, with a portion of budget and capacity planning reserved for late-breaking partner opportunities Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities Builds communities technical audiences show up for: hands-on content, credible speakers, real builders in the room, no sales pitches Designs partner marketing motions with cloud, technology or channel partners, with shared goals and measurable pipeline Connects events to sales: aligns on target accounts, books pre-event meetings, and drives follow-up that turns attendance into pipeline Operates AI-native: designs Human+AI workflows for event planning, follow-up and reporting Builds systems that eliminate recurring work, such as event kits and intake processes, instead of re-solving each event Ranks opportunities against clear criteria and aligns sales, partner and marketing stakeholders around one plan Executes events with sound logistics and vendor management, and handles lead capture in line with GDPR Works self-directed as the first in region, across time zones with a US-based team; travels across the region regularly (roughly 40-50%) Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have, not required) Typically ~5-8 years in event or field marketing, or equivalent demonstrated experience Background in B2B SaaS, developer-focused or AI/infrastructure marketing Experience running co-marketing programs with technical partners Professional proficiency in an additional European language, such as French or German Our Values Be You: bring your whole self and a different perspective; diverse viewpoints make our products better. Be Curious: challenge the status quo, keep learning, and ask 'how might we?' instead of accepting limits. Grow Together: push each other to do great work, treat feedback as a gift, and leave the drama out. Do the Right Thing: act with integrity and candor, assume best intent, choose ethics over expediency. Think Smart. Act Fast.: weigh the high-leverage options, decide, and move; no analysis paralysis. Put the Customer First: listen with empathy, understand their goals, and let their success drive ours. We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting great candidates — so please don't hesitate to apply. We'd love to hear from you.
